We are starting back up with our Annual Fiber Event!

This is a unique opportunity for fiber people of all kinds to join together for a relaxing weekend of spinning, weaving, needlework and more! At this woodland camp, on Vashon Island, we will share fun times with old and new friends, enjoy good food, and shop at local vendors.

BECOME A MEMBER

HOUSING

We will be using the Retreat Center, Cottages, and the Newly Renovated Cabins.

All reservations are for 3 night only.

Retreat Center and Cottage reservations are full, 5 spaces are still available for cabins with no meals.

 The Retreat Center

These are dorm-type rooms and will house 3*

with a shared bathroom.

Members may request roommates, if they wish.

The rooms are heated and Linens & towels are included.

There are ground level rooms available for handicapped,

and can be requested on the registration form.

The handicapped rooms are on a first come, first serve basis

*Rooms will be booked to full capacity which is 3 to a room.

Camp Burton offers a year round multi-purpose site for individuals and organizations to reach their retreat, educational and spiritual goals, within a naturally beautiful setting. Camp Burton was established in 1909 by the American Baptist Churches, as a place for people to gather in fellowship. We welcome our guests to continue the long tradition of sharing their stories and lives with one another.

Newly Renovated Cabins

(insulation, new floors, new mattresses, etc.)

These are free-standing cabins and house 6*

with a shared bathroom.

Members may request roommates, if they wish.

The rooms are heated but you need to bring your own Linens & towels.

These cabins are ground level and a short walk from the parking lot.

You can request a cabin closest to the Hall on the registration form.

The cabin requests are on a first come, first serve basis.

*cabins can house 10 people if members choose to use the top bunks

CAMP BURTON VENDORS

We would like to welcome all our Fiber Vendors to our "re-opening"of our Annual Camp Burton Retreat!

LODGE DINING

Breakfast, lunch, and dinners will be served. Special meal options are available.

Members are welcome to bring their own food but there is NO COOKING at the facility or in the rooms.

Food & Beverages

Breakfasts, lunch, and dinners will be served for the full stay of the retreat, starting with a

wonderful Thursday night dinner, for those you signed up for it, and ending with a tasty breakfast on Sunday.

If members cannot do regular meals, they may request a special meal option:

vegan, vegetarian, dairy-free and gluten-free.

These options can be ordered through their registration - no other options are available.

There will be a coffee and tea area where members can enjoy a

warm beverage and snacks brought by other members.

RETREAT EVENTS

The retreat events will have a large array of events to participate in and enjoy.

Demonstrations

We will have demonstrations Friday and Saturday in Hubert Hall. We hope to have a variety to please all of our fiber arts.

Door Prizes

Each member will receive a door prize ticket with reservation. Winners will be called out throughout Friday and Saturday.

Used Equipment Sale

We will have tables set up for participants to sell their used equipment. Forms will be provided for those who want to sell.

Vendors

The retreat will have a variety of vendors for all participants to shop at, ranging from fiber to handmade items.

Games & Activities

We hope to have an array of fiber games and activities making it fun for all our fiber enthusiasts. Winners get a token gift.

Show & Tell

We will have designated times on Friday and Saturday where you can see what other fibers people have been doing in their spare time.
